MINRO-SIL® 1001

This silica-based refractory is designed for lining coreless induction furnaces. Uses include the low cost melting of gray, ductile and malleable iron in all types of iron foundry operations. MINRO-SIL may also be used for selected high temperature nonferrous applications.

Dri Vibe LGS

DRI-VIBE LGS is a large grain product designed for coreless induction furnaces. This silica based product, with its tightly controlled grain size, can increase the furnace lining life by up to 20%.

Castables

Duracon 28

DURACON® 28 is a low cement castable that exhibits excellent strengths, refractoriness, and resistance to carbon monoxide attack. This mix is designed to be cast with either internal or external vibration. Applications for this product include car tops, boilers, incinerators, furnace covers and applications where carbon monoxide disintegration is a concern. This product can also be used as a general purpose, high-strength dense 45 - 50% alumina castable.

Plastics

RAM MAX® 75 P BLUE

RAM MAX 75 P BLUE is a mullite based high alumina phos-bonded plastic. This pure mullte design offers superior volumbe stability and thermal shock resistance, as well as good strengths through a broad temperature tange. This product is blue in color.

REDIGUN

REDIGUN is a family of gunning plastic. The plastic gunning process provides a high-density monolithic lining comparable to rammed plastic at a much faster and consistent installation rate.

VIB-RAM 70

VIB-RAM 70 is a high alumina, mullite based phos-bonded vibrating plastic. This design is intended for installation using external form vibration or ramming. The mullite base of this product provides good strengths, thermal shock resistance, and volume stability. VIB RAM 70-P can be rammed or vibrated in place

High Temperature Flooring

Matricast Tuffloor

A high strength, abrasion resistant castable with exceptional thermal shock properties. Designed for flooring applications which are exposed to metal splash and extreme heat. Tuffloor is resistant to dross, hot slag, skim and molten metal splash.

Grouts

Minro Al Grout 663A

GROUT 663A is a fused alumina-based refractory troweling mix approved for application to the inside face of coreless induction furnace coils. Benefits include being electrically insulative for application between induction coils, excellent troweling properties and can be used as an entirely new coil coating or patch for existing coatings.

Minro Al Grout 763AF

GROUT 763AF is a fused alumina-based refractory troweling mix approved for application to the inside face of coreless induction furnace coils. The product has the same benefits as GROUT 663A , it has an organic fiber addition to minimize dry-out time and can be used as an entirely new coil coating or patch for existing coatings.

Plasters

Minro Al Plaster A78

A phosphoric acid-bonded, alumina-based refractory is recommended for patching refractory linings. A78 is most suitable for thin, veneer-type patching due to its higher workability. Benefits include: Resists abrasion and corrosion, is thermal shock resistant and works well for ferrous and nonferrous applications.

RAM MAX® 65 P SEAL

RAM MAX® 65 P SEAL is an alumina based phosphate bonded refractory seal. The design is recommended for patching existing refractory linings with a thin coating. It can also be used as a protective covering.
