Nickel is rarely used in its pure form. Instead, it is combined with other metals, especially iron, chromium and copper, to produce alloys that are superior to the individual metals. Nickel is used as an alloying element in cast irons, steels and non-ferrous alloys.

The high purity and consistent composition make them suitable for using in demanding melting applications. These high purity plates are the thickest cathode available (~15 mm). |
